Police investigating death of infant in Lyman, N.H.

LYMAN, N.H. (WHDH) - New Hampshire authorities are investigating the death of an infant and serious injuries to a second child at a home in Lyman.
   
The state attorney general says police received a 911 call from the Quebec Road home shortly before 5 a.m. Wednesday from a couple reporting that their 4-month old son was in medical distress.
   
The child was taken to the hospital where he was declared dead.
 
Police say the infant's twin sister was found to have serious injuries and was hospitalized.

Police are investigating the circumstances that led to the death and injuries.
