Plane maker urging pre-flight checks

Posted: Updated:
BOSTON (WHDH) - The maker of the plane involved in a deadly crash in Bedford urged pre-flight checks for all pilots.

A preliminary report from the National Transportation Safety Board found it is possible the pilot did not do a check before takeoff earlier this month.

The plane had an issue with its mechanical gust lock system and a pre-flight check could have caught that.

Seven people died on board the plane.
