One woman says she was attacked Monday when she was riding in a cab in Boston.
“He just started driving off, he ran over my foot, he ran over my hand a little bit, I think I hit my head but with all the confusion I don’t know,” she said.
Montanez says before dragging her the driver attacked her with a crowbar.
“In the heat of the moment where I just had a crow bar thrown at my head and I’m getting dragged down the street, you don’t know what’s going on except hold on for dear life, I didn’t know what to do,” she said.
The driver is telling his employer a different story.
“His side of the story is they were fighting when they got on the cab between each other, but he never said anything about someone being dragged, he said they just got of the cab,” Steve Sullivan, a manager at Metro Cab, said.
Montanez was treated and released from the hospital, the driver will be summonsed to court where he will face charges of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.
