STOUGHTON, Mass. (WHDH) - Stoughton Police are looking for the public's assistance in locating three men who they say robbed a man at gunpoint outside his apartment Friday night.

The victim was allegedly approached by two white males and a black male and robbed at gunpoint outside apartments on Bennett Drive.

The victim was also assaulted and the victim's brother was forced into the apartment as it was ransacked, according to police.

Officers pursued a fleeing suspect but he was able to get away with stolen items.

The suspects are described as a short, heavy set white male in his thirties with a bald or shaved head, a tall, white male with brown hair and a mustache and a black male around 5 foot 8 inches with a stocky build. All three were wearing dark uniform-type clothing.

Stoughton Police don't believe this attack was random.

Anyone with any information is asked to contact the Stoughton Police Department at (781) 344-2424.
