Feel the difference? Yes, it's a new, fresh air mass in place this morning thanks to a last evening's cool front, and the northeast wind behind it, that pushed in the lower humidity and cooler temps. As those onshore winds prevail today, so will the cooler weather with highs in the mid 60s at the coast to lower 70s inland. The rain chance is low today, with only a slight chance for a passing shower out toward Worcester County. Inside 495, it should remain dry with a blend of clouds and sun. Tomorrow features lots of clouds and similar temps, but limited rain chances again too.
The highest chance of showers and thunderstorms rolls in Thursday night - Friday night. That's not to say it'll rain the whole time, but it just the time frame these storms are in and out. With much higher dew points back in place Friday as well, some of those storms will be capable of producing downpours.
How about Dad's big day? The weekend forecast still looks good. Perhaps we'll start with a shower and some clouds early Saturday morning, but other than that, we should be able to lower the humidity and dry out. Highs near 80 both Saturday and Sunday, providing great golf weather, grilling weather and even beach weather. With a set-up like this, whatever you do for dad, you can't go wrong.
Enjoy the low humidity today.
