GRANTHAM, N.H. (AP) - An award-winning doctor in Boston was pulled over in New Hampshire for reportedly driving 118 mph in a 65 mph zone.

N.H. State Police say Dr. Adel M. Malek was driving his 2011 Audi when he was pulled over early Sunday morning on I-89 in Grantham and arrested for reckless driving.

Tufts Medical Center has confirmed that Malek works there, but they aren’t saying anything else.

Malek is the chief for the Division of Neurovascular Surgery and is also a professor.

He was named "Top Doctor" by U.S. News & World Report in 2012 and in 2011 he was selected to "Boston Super Doctors.” He attended Harvard Medical School.

Malek has a long driving record that includes 14 speeding citations and 3 suspensions.

He was released on bail and is expected to appear in court in New Hampshire in the next few days.
