Patrols upped around N. Quincy after reported attack

QUINCY, Mass. (WHDH) - Police are adding patrols around the North Quincy MBTA station after a woman said she was attacked Saturday morning.

The woman said she was walking home from the station in the area of Botolph Street and Clive Street when a man came from behind her and attacked her. According to the victim, the suspect told her to be quiet and tried to cover her mouth. She fought off the suspect and ran.

She described the man as around 5 foot 9 or 5 foot 10. He was wearing dark clothes.

Officials said the suspect is still on the loose.
