Man arrested after stabbing at Wonderland station

REVERE, Mass. (WHDH) - A 28-year-old man is in custody after allegedly stabbing two people at the Wonderland T station Friday evening.

Transit Police responded to the Blue Line station at approximately 9:30 p.m. and found a 49-year-old male with a serious injury and a 33-year-old female with non-life threatening injuries. Both victims were transported to Mass. General Hospital for treatment.

According to officials, a verbal exchange occurred between the victims and the suspect, which escalated to a physical attack.

Police arrested the man at the Revere Beach T station. He has been charged with assault with intent to murder and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.

The incident is still being investigated.
