Car stuck on MBTA tracks, causes delays

Posted: Updated:
BRIDGEWATER, Mass. (WHDH) - MBTA service was delayed in Bridgewater thanks to a car that got stuck on the tracks Friday morning.

According to Lt. Thomas Schlatz, a woman attempted to drive down the side of the tracks. Realizing she couldn't, she attempted a three point turn, resulting in the car getting stuck on the tracks.

MBTA service was stopped for 30 or 45 minutes, with trains in the Bridgewater and Brockton stations.

The car was cleared from the tracks at around 8:15 a.m.
