2 injured after MBTA bus crash in Malden

Posted: Updated:
MALDEN, Mass. (WHDH) - Two people were transported to the hospital after a MBTA bus crashed outside the Malden Center T station Thursday.

Malden Police said the bus drove over a median at the intersection of Pleasant Street and Lawrence Street.

The driver and one of the passengers were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The driver was conscious and alert when police arrived.

The driver said that the bus slipped, which may have been due to the rainy weather.

The bus has been towed.
