A New Hampshire man accused of going on a crime spree Tuesday night was arraigned from his hospital bed.
Police say they responded to a 911 call from a man who told them he was distraught.
When police arrived they reportedly saw 44-year-old Anthony Reardon wearing body armor and carrying two rifles.
Officers backed off and that’s when Reardon is accused of getting into a police cruiser and smashing it into several other cruisers.
Reardon faces 9 felony charges for the incident.
“He is currently charged on 9 felony counts to include theft by unauthorized taking, felony criminal mischief as well as attempted assault on police officers,” N.H. State Police Maj. Dave Parenteau said.
After getting out of the cruiser Reardon allegedly fled into his house while officers searched for him. They eventually discovered he was unarmed and took him into custody.
Wednesday he was arraigned in an Exeter hospital where he is being treated for injuries he suffered before police responded.
