You Nasty, Mother Nature. I usually try to find positive in the daily weather message but it’s a struggle today. Here’s what we have in store:

*Periods of light rain & drizzle up until 2-3pm
*Temps about 20 degrees below normal—meaning our temps all day remain near 50.
*A cold, raw wind from the Gulf Of Maine adds chill to the air.

Even Pollyanna would frown at that. What I can offer up is that despite the clouds & the chill it is dry after 3pm so outdoor plans, albeit chilly, can get done (including the Red Sox game). Also, those clouds may actually begin to break up by 7pm, giving us at least a glimpse of the sun late today. Clearing & chilly tonight. Let’s move on shall we?

Thursday is an awesome spring day with mostly sunny skies & temps up near 70 (low 60s at the coast). Friday starts bright & mild but clouds begin to arrive ahead of our next storm. This storm takes its time arriving so most of the day is dry but some showers are likely from Worcester to Amesbury late in the day. Boston & locations south of town likely get through the entire day without rain. Showers are likely after dark across much of southern New England.

The weekend looks decent–especially Sunday with mostly sunny & warm conditions. Saturday will start slow with clouds/showers but skies will partially clear by afternoon.
