BROCKTON, Mass. (WHDH) -
Friends and family of Florence Beaulieu gathered outside the home she lived in Monday night to remember her life and say goodbye.
Beaulieu’s daughters found her dead in her home on May 16.
“I feel bad for my sisters because of how they had to find her and I feel bad for my little sister I don't know if she knows a lot about it. I think she knows but not enough to know what’s really going on,” Beaulieu’s son Junior said.
Those gathered said she was always a happy woman who would do anything for her family.
“She was a good person she always tried to do the best for us she was the only one working she was always trying to do her best for us. It’s sad it ended like this a lot of people knew her and she was really loved by others and to find out how she died made it even worse,” Junior said.
While the District Attorney investigates her death family members are just trying to cope.
“She was a very nice girl she never had trouble to nobody she loves people she take care of family she's always working, she loves school,” her father Emmanuel Saint-Louis said.
Her son said he wants everyone to remember the life she live and not the way she died.
“It’s sad I don't like seeing all the tears cause it’s like I don’t want to remember her for her death, I want to remember her for her always being happy and smile and the tears make me it seem like wow, the way she died was terrible but remember all the things she did for us,” Junior said.
A memorial service has been set for Saturday, May 31.
