Cooky wacky day yesterday with sunshine...clouds..raindrops...wind....then rinse repeat all over again. A storm dropped out of Maine during yesterday (a bit unusual to see happen) and this storm now sits east of Cape Cod where some early morning rain will move away with the storm. High pressure takes over and this will set us up for a couple of nice spring days.
Today & Wednesday will offer up some mighty purty looking cumulus clouds each afternoon (truth be told, some of those clouds may toss a sprinkle or two your way but the chance is remote--so remote that there won;t be a raindrop on the 7-day graphic). Our temps will also average out to slightly above normal today & again tomorrow. All in all some nice weather for outdoor activities.
Our next system is on the move and has a lot of real estate to cover but eventually it will arrive in New England early Thursday morning and linger for a couple of days. Now, this storm is weak and will weaken further as it passes through New England. So......we will have a lot of clouds on Thursday & Friday but not a lot of rain, rather just a few isolated showers. Both days will offer dry stretches for outdoor activities.
As we step into the Holiday Weekend, it looks promising. Saturday will see a few isolated showers during the afternoon but still quite a bit of sunshine. Sunday & Memorial Day will see a ton of sun but no risk of afternoon showers. We will also see a warming trend with temps on Saturday in the upper 60s and by Monday those high temps are near 80!
