Children's museum worker accused of having child porn

BOSTON (WHDH) -

A Boston Children’s Museum employee appeared in court recently accused of having pornographic images of children.

The District Attorney said 43-year-old Paul Fest left a thumb drive with the images in a co-workers car.

The other employee said they didn't know who the drive belonged to, so they plugged it in and looked at what was on it. After seeing the pictures they called police.

During a search of Fest’s home computer police said they discovered more images. Fest reportedly admitted to possessing the images.

The museum says Fest coordinated the facilities set up and breakdown of events.

"These allegations are deeply disturbing, and after we learned of his arrest we immediately terminated Mr. Fest," the museum said in a statement.

A judge has released Fest from jail but ordered him to have no contact with children, he will be required to wear a GPS monitoring device as well. He is scheduled to appear back in court in August.
