Accident in Sturbridge causes 12-mile backup

STURBRIDGE, Mass. (WHDH) - An SUV ended up on top of a car in Sturbridge after a motor vehicle accident Sunday morning.

The two vehicles crashed on Interstate 90 westbound on the Charlton line, with the back wheels of the SUV leaving an indent on the roof of the car.

No injuries were reported.

The accident resulted in the closing the two right lanes until around 12:30 p.m., causing a 12-mile backup.
