A passing shower or two the next few afternoons, but still many dry weather for much of each day.
After a beauty of a Saturday, we kept the clear skies overnight last night and now we have plenty of sunshine to start this Sunday morning aside from some immediate coastal areas as a bank of low clouds and fog has formed this morning over the ocean, and near the coast, we'll battle some of those thicker clouds. Especially over the South Shore and Cape.
For the rest of us that are seeing ton of sun early this morning, clouds build a bit by late morning, into the afternoon thanks to cold air aloft providing some instability. While much of the day is dry, I can't rule out a passing shower in a few towns in the afternoon. The rain chance runs about 20%. Highs near 70, so it'll be a bit cooler than today, and the low humidity sticks around.
Monday and Tuesday feature more of the same, just a few passing afternoon showers that are hit or miss as highs head into the upper 60s.
A better chance for rain arrives late Wednesday... like, near day's end, into Thursday. With winds turning onshore and the rain continuing Thursday, it'll be a raw day with highs stuck in the 50s. Friday may suffer from the same fate.
How about into next weekend? The system that plagues us into Friday is slow to move east. However, showers become more hit and miss instead of consistent, and Saturday features some improvements as highs run in the mid 60s to near 70 with just a slight shower risk. If all goes according to plan, we should be able to build high pressure and dry weather in for Sunday and Monday.
