Frog arrested after police respond to home in Ashland

Posted: Updated:
ASHLAND, Mass. (WHDH) - Ashland Police arrested a criminal they say was causing a ruckus in a backyard, but it's not the kind of suspect they're used to handling.

The department tweeted out this photo after they responded to a call of someone banging on trash cans, only to discover that it was a frog.

The perpetrator tried to hop away but police were able to place it into custody after a short pursuit.

There is no word on whether officers had handcuffs small enough for the frog.
