8-year-old girl talks about getting hit by car

Posted: Updated:
UNDATED (WHDH) - An 8-year-old girl is lucky to be alive after she was hit by a getaway car being chased by police.

She was riding her scooter outside her home in Pennsylvania when the driver crashed into a parked car, which collided with her.

The girl incredibly survived with only a few minor injuries.

"I fell, and flew in the air, and I landed on my head,” Cassidy Wall said.

If you look closely, you'll notice her sister, 5-year-old Zmyiah, on the steps, getting out of the way just in time.

If she would have been on the ground a second earlier she would have been hit by the car as well.

"The car crashed in and then she got hit, and she flew all the way up in the sky, and fell on her head." Zmyiah said.

Cassidy suffered a concussion in the crash; her little sister some bumps and bruises.

The entire family, is traumatized by the incident.

"I was terrified. I still am terrified. As a father, you don't want that to happen to your children. It's crazy,” Delorean Wall, Cassidy’s father, said.
Cassidy said watching the video makes her upset.

"When I saw the video, everything I thought about it, I started crying ‘cause it hurt my feelings, and I didn't like what I saw," Cassidy said.

While these two girls are shaken up by this incident, wall says it could have been a lot worse.

"It could have happened to anybody's kids. And it could have been worse. So all I can tell people, is just to watch your kids,” Delorean Wall said.

Two men have been charged in connection with that crash.
