Former Chelsea Housing Director faces new charges

Posted: Updated:
BOSTON (WHDH) - Disgraced Chelsea Housing Authority Director Michael McLaughlin had pleaded guilty to more corruption charges, according to The Boston Globe.

Prosecutors say McLaughlin was tipped off about apartment inspections, allowing him to clean up those units ahead of time and get more government funding.

McLaughlin is already serving a three year prison sentence. He will be sentenced for these new charges next month.
