Hooksett man arrested after threatening two with knife

HOOKSETT, N.H. (WHDH) - A man was arrested in Hooksett on domestic violence charges after pushing his girlfriend's father and threatening two people with a knife.

Police responded to an apartment at Merrimack Heights Friday night on reports of a domestic assault.

According to officials, Dennis Allen, 25, pulled a knife out and threatened his girlfriend with it. He then turned on his girlfriend's father and threatened him with the knife.

Allen was arrested and charged with two counts of domestic violence. He is being held on $5,000 cash bail and is scheduled for an arraignment on Monday.

He also had an electronic bench warrant from Rochester court and was held on that charge.
