BURLINGTON, Mass. (WHDH) -
Two people were rushed to the hospital early Friday morning after a 2-car crash in Burlington.
The accident on Route 128 southbound at Winn Street in the high speed lane happened just after midnight. One vehicle rear-ended another, pushing it into a barrier.
One person was trapped inside a vehicle and had to be extricated by fire responders, but was conscious and alert at the time. Another victim had minor injuries. Both victims were transported to area hospitals.
Reconstruction and crime scene services responded to the scene to investigate.
No word on the nature of the injuries or if any charges will be filed.
