Bruins aren't worried about being down 2-1 in Montreal

Posted: Updated:
MONTREAL (WHDH) - At Thursday’s morning skate the Bruins were keeping it light and not getting too concerned over being down in the series.

“There’s no need to panic here, it’s 2-1, not 3-0. There’s no need to hit the panic button, we’ve got a lot of good leadership in here, we’ve been in a lot of situations before and I think tonight we want to focus on putting our best game on the ice,” Bruins forward Brad Marchand said.

Players say they are focusing on playing their game and doing what they can do to win rather than trying to stop the Canadiens.

“We try to not think about all the other distractions and just stick to our game plan. If that’s how the media is going to portray it, us against the world, then I guess that’s how we’ll see it too,” forward Dougie Hamilton said.

Coach Claude Julien said he’s not worried about elimination as some fans fear the series may be over.

“Last time I looked it was 2-1 in there series; there’s hockey to be played here,” he said.
