CANTON, Mass. (WHDH) -
A father-son duo stopped a car thief in Canton early Saturday morning.
Police responded to Wisteria Way for reports of a man trying to steal a motor vehicle from a resident's driveway and were told that the 911 caller's husband and son had gone to confront the suspect.
When responders got there, they found the male resident and his son holding the suspect in place.
Michael Robicheau, 28, of Easton was dressed in all black and was found in possession of several items stolen from the residents' vehicle, along with items from car breaks in Stoughton and others in the area.
Robicheau was charged with three counts of breaking and entering of a motor vehicle, two counts of larceny, receiving stolen property and resisting arrest.
