LAWRENCE, Mass. (WHDH) -
A Haverhill man is dead after the car he was driving rolled over in Lawrence early Saturday, causing a truck from Maine to hit it.
State police say a tractor-trailer hit a Buick driven by 55-year-old Carlos Cunha, which had some point rolled over and came to rest in the northbound lanes on Interstate 495 near Exit 42B. Cunha was ejected from the vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The truck driver, 50-year-old John Furman of Danville, N.H., was not injured. He was operating a vehicle owned by Left Lane Trucking LLC, of Dayton, Maine.
The left and middle lanes were closed until 4:46 a.m.
