Monday night on ‘The Voice’ Hanson-native Kristen Merlin's mic cut out for the last 20 seconds of her live performance.
But instead of stopping she kept singing.
A crew member was able to give her a new mic to finish the last note.
After the performance, Merlin got a standing ovation from everyone, including the celebrity coaches.
“Well done. I would have been a puddle of nerves. I would have been crying, I would have had thumb in my mouth. I might have run off stage, but that was really inspiring,” The Voice coach Adam Levine said.
"I wasn't going to stop for anything. It is what it is and I still had a great time...I love that Blake put that positive spin, let's not focus on the negatives, and that's totally my personality," Merlin said.
