Paralyzed Norwood teen Matt Brown finishes Boston Marathon

Posted: Updated:
BOSTON (WHDH) - Norwood teenager Matt Brown crossed the finish line on Boylston Street for the second time on Monday.

Brown was paralyzed in 2010 during a hockey game.

He first completed the Boston Marathon with Army ranger Lucas Carr two years ago.

Brown says after what happened last year, they knew they had to come back.

“From Hopkinton to Boylston they were out of their mind. It was awesome. They were feeding off each other and we were feeding off them,” Brown said.

One person who was back in town cheering on Brown and Carr was former Bruin Andrew Ference who tweeted out this picture with them last night.
