One arrested after car crashes into Cambridge store

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. (WHDH) - A car crashed into a store in Cambridge early Saturday morning.

According to the owner, the driver hit another car before crashing into BoConcept's window at 999 Mass. Ave at around 3:40 a.m.

After striking the building and while the driver was exiting the vehicle, a firearm fell to the ground.

Jamie Knight, from Jackson Gardens in Cambridge, was placed under arrest and charged with operating to endanger and possession of a firearm and ammunition.

After booking, police found drugs on him, resulting in an additional charge of possession with intent to distribute. He will be arraigned on Tuesday.

One party was transported to Cambridge Hospital with a minor injury.

The store front has been boarded up.
