Boston University holds vigil for Lu Lingzi

BOSTON (WHDH) - Boston and the B.U. gathered Monday night to remember one of their students, Lu Lingzi, who was killed in the attacks.

A vigil was held in her honor, many in attendance decided to run, including Yujue Wang.

"We just want to find some way to carry on," she said.

This will be Wang’s first marathon ever.

"We just want to take back the finish line from the bombers. Just to show that we’re unwavering and nothing from stop us from going forward,” she said.

Now those who loved Lingzi the most are remembering her incredible work ethic and positivity

A scholarship has been established in her memory for students hoping to earn their Master’s degree, especially Chinese students.
