The American Civil Liberties Union of Massachusetts filed a lawsuit, claiming the FBI and U.S. Attorney Carmen Ortiz did not respond to their requests for more information about Ibragim Todashev.
Todashev was the Florida man shot dead while being questioned by the FBI about his friend, marathon bomber Tamerlan Tsarnaev.
The ACLU wants details on how the agencies who investigated Todashev operate. Their argument is that when law enforcement kills someone in their own home, the public deserves to know who was there and why.
