Dog recovering at MSPCA Angell with two broken legs

Posted: Updated:
BOSTON (WHDH) - Bruno, a Chihuahua/terrier was brought to MSPCA-Angell recently after a brick fell on him breaking his two front legs, but after surgery he is as happy as ever.

The 1-year-old dog isn’t looking for treats when he walks around on his hind legs, that’s just how he is getting around while his two front legs heal.

“When his legs were broken, we needed to put some plates and some screws in there and put them back together and as soon as we did that he’s like ‘hey I'm fine,’” MSPCA Vet Tech Andrea Bessler said.

Bruno will need to wear two large casts for another two months and after that he will be available for adoption.
