Winthrop hockey coaches cleared of locker room party

Posted: Updated:
WINTHROP, Mass. (WHDH) -

Coaches of the Winthrop High School hockey team have been cleared of their responsibility in an underage drinking party.

Last month an officer found players drinking in their locker room.

Police said they are charging a 22-year-old man with providing the alcohol.

Police also said the coaches, who were in a separate locker room, didn't know what was going on until police showed up.
