2-alarm fire displaces 11 in Wareham

WAREHAM, Mass. (WHDH) - Eleven people have been displaced after a 2-alarm fire ripped through a home in Wareham Saturday afternoon.

Firefighters had to use a ladder to reach the top of the two-and-a-half story home on Tyler Ave.

Responders were able to put the flames out, but the damage to the structure was too extensive for residents to return.

The Red Cross was on the scene assisting the 11 people affected by the fire.
 
There is no word on the cause of the fire.
