Police have arrested a man in Beverly who they believe was abusing a 1-year-old child.
Police went to Christopher Van Horn’s home after a man reported the alleged abuse.
Officers say when they got there the child had a red swollen area on his right temple.
Van Horn was arrested and is being held without bail pending a dangerousness hearing.
