Conn. woman wants to sue state after chimp attack

A Connecticut woman mauled by a chimpanzee in 2009 is appealing to state lawmakers this week in her bid to sue the state for $150 million.

Charla Nash argues the state had the authority and obligation to seize the dangerous animal. A state commissioner last year refused Nash’s request for permission to sue the state government over the attack.
