HANOVER, Mass. (WHDH) - Joggers, police and parents are on alert in Hanover after a violent daytime attack was reported on a walking trial.

A woman said she was running on the Colby-Phillips Trail when she was attacked near the Hanover Middle School Sunday afternoon.

Police searched the area and didn’t find anything, but they do say the victim was able to give them a very good description.

One of the suspects is 5 feet 10 inches tall with a large muscular build. He was wearing a gold necklace and had a heavy tan.

The other suspect was pale with freckles, muscular and 6 feet 2 inches tall. The victim said he was wearing a dark colored baseball hat with a CG logo, he also had on white running shoes with red laces.

Parents at the middle school said they’re concerned for the safety of their children.

“I wouldn't want my daughter running through there alone; I wouldn't run through there alone. Anytime they’re out without me I just always tell them to stay together,” Shari Laprise said.

No arrests have been made yet and police say they have increased their presence in the area.
