7Healthcast: Migraine headband

Posted: Updated:
BOSTON (WHDH) - The FDA has approved a first-of-its-kind device to prevent migraines.

It's a nerve stimulating headband.

The band sends a low electrical current to nerves in your head that are associated with migraines.

It's designed for people who can't tolerate migraine medications, and is meant to be used for about 20 minutes at a time.
