Two stabbed after altercation in Back Bay

Posted: Updated:
BOSTON (WHDH) - Police are looking for two people they believe are connected with a stabbing in the Back Bay area Friday afternoon.

Officials received the call for a stabbing on Hereford St. just before 3 p.m.

The two victims, both women and aged 18 and 19 years old, were transported to local hospitals. One is in critical condition and the other is stable.

According to officials, the incident was the result of a fight and the four people involved knew each other. A detail officer reportedly broke up the altercation.

"Detail officer ran up, had to make a decision to chase the suspect or tend to the victim, he attended the victim and thankfully he did because that person is now being treated at the hospital," said Supt. Bernie O'Rourke.

The two suspects are still on the run. Police said that they are looking for a man with multi-colored shoes and a black woman with a green hair piece.

If anybody has any information, they are asked to contact the Boston Police Department.
