Posted: Updated:
NATICK, Mass. (WHDH) - A Natick man was charged for ripping out a large area of insulation in the common area of the condo building where he lived.

Richard Mutable, 39, apparently ripped out the insulation because he didn't like the color.

Police said that Mutable also stole the building permit.

He caused an estimated $2,400 in damage.

The contractor who was working on installing the insulation called the police. Officers were in the process of obtaining a warrant when Mutable presented himself in the lobby of the police station.
