Two new measles cases reported in Middlesex County

JAMAICA PLAIN, Mass. (WHDH) -

The State Department of Health reported two new cases of measles in Middlesex County.

Health officials haven't said exactly where the latest exposures happened.

This comes after two confirmed cases in Framingham in late February and two additional ones the month before. With the latest announcement a total of six measles cases have been reported this year in Massachusetts.

Measles symptoms resemble a cold, then a rash appears a few days later. If you get these symptoms, health officials said you should call your doctor.
