ATTLEBORO, Mass. (WHDH) -

An Attleboro father is behind bars this morning after being accused of breaking his four-month-old son's leg.

The Sun Chronicle reported the 22-year-old Ryan Ellis is being held on $50 thousand bail.

Officers said Ellis twisted his son's leg Sunday.

The child also has a brain injury but Ellis is not charged with causing that injury.

A family member said the boy remains in the hospital but is "doing well."
