Arctic cold or an all day snowstorm? This or that? Take your pick—-personally, I’m going with the cold. Don’t get me wrong–I love my snow but I’ve had enough and I’m moving on to spring. I just wish Mother Nature would too. #Bummer

You folks down on the Cape actually get both as you get grazed by the mid-atlantic storm with patchy snow reaching up onto the Cape/Buzzards Bay. Thankfully it’s just a glancing blow so a coating-2″ is all that is expected south of Rt. 44 and even with that said, the sun returns later today. For the rest of us we have morning clouds & flurries with sunshine back with us for the afternoon but so is the cold as daytime temps stay in the 20s—well below the normal high of 42.

The remainder of the week offers very cold conditions with morning temps into the single numbers tomorrow (teens thereafter) and afternoon highs in the 20s & 30s. There are signs by Thursday that a little light snow is likely across the region but this tiny weather system also helps to dislodge arctic air from New England so that by Friday-Saturday our daytime temps will reach the low 40s. I’m ready.
