Memorial bench created in honor of Puppy Doe

Posted: Updated:
QUINCY, Mass. (WHDH) - The city of Quincy has approved a park bench in honor of Puppy Doe.

The dog was found badly beaten last year and had to be put down.

The bench will be the city's first ever memorial for an animal. It is expected to be installed at a playground in the spring.

Radoslaw Czerkawski is facing animal cruelty charges in connection to the beating.

He has pleaded not guilty and is being held without bail.
