Fugitive arrested in connection with NH bank robbery

LEOMINSTER, Mass. (WHDH) - A man police were looking for in connection to a bank robbery has been arrested after they received word he was going to commit another crime.

Eric Lord, 43, of Greenville, N.H. was allegedly planning a robbery in the Leominster or Fitchburg area.

Police found him at a commercial property in Leominster before the had the opportunity to carry out the robbery.

He was originally wanted in connection with the robbery at a TD Bank in New Ipswich Friday afternoon.

Lord is currently being held without bail. He will be arraigned in Leominster District Court on Monday as a fugitive from justice.

His plans for the second robbery remain under investigation.
