Romney says Hillary shouldn't be judged on husband's record

Posted: Updated:

Former republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney said if Hillary Clinton runs for president, she should be judged on her record, not her husband Bill Clinton's record.

Romney made the comments while appearing on ‘Meet the Press.’

“He embarrassed the nation. He breached his responsibility, I think, as an adult and as a leader in his relationship. And I think that's very unfortunate, but I don't think that's Hillary Clinton's to explain,” said Romney.

Romney added that voters should focus on Hillary's work as secretary of state, and if she improved U.S. relations with other countries.
