Heavy wet snow and winds on South Shore

PLYMOUTH, Mass. (WHDH) - Plymouth and other areas of the South Shore experienced power outages and heavy winds in Saturday's winter storm.

In the last update with NStar, about 780 customers are without power.

According to officials, the area is expected to get the most amount of snowfall in the evening until around midnight.

The wind and snow are strong enough to be blowing sideways, according to 7News' Brandon Gunnoe.

The area is seeing heavy wet snowfall and power outages are expected.

The snow has been consistent, but there hasn't been a lot of accumulation, according to 7News' Anthony Miller. However, he also notes that plows have been doing a good job of clearing the roads.
