Skeleton athlete Noelle Pikus-Pace is in position to earn a medal in the women’s events, but her road to Sochi has been filled with highs and lows. She finished fourth in Vancouver four years ago, and a miscarriage in 2012 inspired her to get back into the sport. “It gave me something to move towards,” she said. Now she travels with her entire family wherever she goes to compete.
