NORTHBRIDGE, Mass. (AP) - Northbridge police say a 74-year-old pedestrian has died after being struck by a car driven by a 93-year-old man who didn't stop.
Police say Russell Dusablon was walking not far from his home at about 8:20 a.m. Tuesday when he was struck. Dusablon was conscious and talked to police at the scene, then was flown to a Worcester hospital where he died from his injuries.
The Telegram & Gazette reports that police found the car that struck him 10 minutes later about three miles away.
The 93-year-old driver says he had no idea he had hit anyone.
Police describe it as a "low speed accident."
The death remains under investigation but police have filed to have the driver's license suspended.
