ANDOVER, Mass. (WHDH) -
Snow has been falling steadily for most of Thursday morning in Andover, leaving the roads slippery and officials worried about potential accidents.
As of noon, 7News reporter Cheryl Fiandaca measured about two inches of snow.
The area is expected to get about eight inches by the end of the storm.
A lot of people in the area have chosen to stay inside, leaving room on the roads and on the sidewalks for plows and sanders.
Despite there being light traffic on the highways, State Police are still warning people about the dangerous conditions, asking people to slow down and maintain a good distance from other cars, citing slippery roads and other dangerous conditions.
Officials have tweeted out several accidents Thursday morning.
