MSPCA-Angell Pet of the Week: Hazel the Dog

Posted: Updated:
BOSTON (WHDH) - Hazel is a three-year-old lab and pit bull mix who ended up at MSPCA’s Boston adoption center after he was struck by a car and his owners decided not to keep him.

After six weeks of rest his injuries have healed – though he is still on a restricted walk schedule for the next five weeks.  He’s a very good boy who is at home with kids and dogs as he is with cats.  Hazel loves playing with toys and just spending time napping with his human friends.

Hazel is neutered and up to date on all his shots.  And, as with all pets that leave the MSPCA’s adoption centers for new homes, he’ll be microchipped once he’s adopted.

The MSPCA-Angell Adoption Center in Boston is located at 350 South Huntington Avenue in Jamaica Plain. Hours of operation are Tuesday through Friday from 2:00p.m. to 6:00p.m. and Saturday & Sunday from 11:00a.m. to 4:00p.m.
